Our Story
We have taken our inspiration from nature and our pigs. The reason we decided to make piggin great pizza came from our desire to showcase and talk about the fabulous pork we breed.
Dough
Our pizza is made from slow-rising neopolitan dough (a minimum of 24 hours) it’s cooked hot and fast which locks in the flour’s natural aroma and moisture giving an easily digestible base. We use the best Caputo 00 flour and semolina for the authentic Italian crunch.
Ingredients
We take pride in our ingredients.
We use local products as much as possible. We raise our own pork in Wensleydale. Our pigs are raised outside with love and care and they have freedom to roam and exhibit their natural instincts.
Everything is made to order, so when it reaches you it’s fresh, hot and scrumptious.
